Bringing together concrete and metaphorical images, Sofía Quirno´s work proposes an experience of everyday associations. Influenced by the Argentine tradition of Feminism, Surrealism, and Psychoanalysis, Quirno sets to play with exiting schemas using humor to evidence vulnerability.s in New York.
Her paintings and installations reinterpret landscapes of life to enhance the perception of the strange and often funny experience that it is to be in the world.
