ELENA LOSON
Born in Rosario, Argentina, in 1980. She lives and works in Santiago de Chile.
She has a degree in Arts from the University of Palermo (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and a Masters in Art specializing in Visual Arts from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. She studied a degree in Philosophy at the University of Buenos Aires, and Fine Arts at Prilidiano Pueyrredón School (Buenos Aires, Argentina). She attended workshops by artists Tulio de Sagastizábal, Carolina Antoniadis and Tomás Fracchia.
She is a freelance writer on contemporary art, and she is also responsible for the ducational design of the workshop in contemporary art, creative processes and education Nube.

She has been selected to participate in the Versus/Caja negra artes visuales Residence Project along with Italian artist Elena Bellantoni, Santiago de Chile, Chile (2012).

Among the distinctions she received are the Magna Cum Laude Award granted by the University of Palermo (2007), the Scholarship to Academic Excellence granted twice by the Master of the Catholic University of Chile (2008-2009) and the Cruce de los Andes Award granted by the Embassy of Argentina in Chile in recognition of the contribution made to cultural integration between both countries (2011).
